12. INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE: BACK TO THE FUTURE
We are excited to invite you to the upcoming 12th hybrid International Conference of IIA Slovenia, which will be held in beautiful Bled, in Grand Hotel Toplice (it will also be held virtually via ZOOM) on 18th and 19th May. The conference will provide a unique opportunity for professionals in the internal audit field to gather and learn about the latest trends, best practices, and emerging issues in the industry.

The theme of this year’s conference is “Back to the Future” with a focus on exploring the history and evolution of internal auditing, as well as looking to the future and the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. Attendees can expect keynote speeches from industry leaders, interactive sessions, and networking opportunities with peers and colleagues.
Topics that will be covered at the conference include:
- The impact of new technologies on internal auditing, such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, and cloud computing
- The importance of data analytics and how it is changing the way internal auditors work
- The evolving role of internal audit in risk management
- Strategies for building and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders
- The future of internal audit and how the profession may evolve in the coming years.

Of course, we have not forgotten about the informal gathering. For all the participants there will be free dinner on the first day of conference, that will be held in a hotel.

The participants can gain 13 CPE points (2 CPE in ethics). The conference will also have the translation into English language, where Slovenian presentations will be held. Translation will be available via ZOOM application.

The conference organizer reserves the right to modify the date and the conference professional programme.

Please note that the conference fee covers two days virtual or in person attendance. For in person attendance in Bled price also includes the dinner on the first day of the conference.

Requests for refunds must be in writing to email@example.com .
Registrations are transferable at no additional cost. Name substitutions are accepted in writing only (email is acceptable) to the email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Once the reservation has been made correctly, you will receive the appropriate payment instructions to the e-mail address provided. Conference fee can be paid by bank transfer. If the payment is not received, the registration is invalid.
