INTERNAL AUDIT WITHOUT LIMITS: COLLABORATING, CONNECTING, AND ADDING VALUE
Dear internal auditors, friends and supporters of internal audit, welcome.
The year is around and with it also this year’s, this time jubilee, 10th International Conference of IIA Slovenia.
Although we hoped and prepared the plan for the conference »in live«, the circumstances are as they are, so we decided to organize it once more in a virtual environment. Despite all, we have successfully prepared an excellent one-day conference’s program with Slovenian and international guests, which will be held 27th May (Thursday) via ZOOM.
Internal audit has in the pandemics and “new normal” in front of great challenges to sustain the growth and development and modernization of doing business. It is thus paramount that we identify and promote the purpose of internal audit, which is also represented in the new three-line model. We believe in the purpose and role of internal audit in all organizations, which cannot be overlooked and will shape our future. Thus, this year’s topic is: Internal Audit Without Limits: Collaborating, Connecting and Adding Value. At the conference Slovenian and international experts will show how internal audit should function in these dynamic times and what the future will bring. The central theme of the conference is connection and collaboration of internal audit with the second line, but also not forgetting other important topics, mainly how to better prepare for the future.
We are honoured that this year’s keynote speaker is:
Mr. Naohiro Mouri, the vice president and chief audit executive of AIG and the former chairman of IIA Global (2018-2019).
