12. INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE: BACK TO THE FUTURE

We are excited to invite you to the upcoming 12^th hybrid International Conference of IIA Slovenia, which will be held in beautiful Bled, in Grand Hotel Toplice (it will also be held virtually via ZOOM) on 18th and 19th May.  The conference will provide a unique opportunity for professionals in the internal audit field to gather and learn about the latest trends, best practices, and emerging issues in the industry.

We are honoured that this year’s keynote speaker is:

The theme of this year’s conference is “Back to the Future” with a focus on exploring the history and evolution of internal auditing, as well as looking to the future and the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. Attendees can expect keynote speeches from industry leaders, interactive sessions, and networking opportunities with peers and colleagues.

Topics that will be covered at the conference include:

• The impact of new technologies on internal auditing, such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, and cloud computing
• The importance of data analytics and how it is changing the way internal auditors work
• The evolving role of internal audit in risk management
• Strategies for building and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders
• The future of internal audit and how the profession may evolve in the coming years.

We believe that this conference will provide a exciting opportunity to gain insights from leading experts in the field of internal audit, and we hope that you will be able to attend.

Of course, we have not forgotten about the informal gathering. For all the participants there will be free dinner on the first day of conference, that will be held in a hotel.

CREDIT POINTS

The participants can gain 13 CPE points (2 CPE in ethics). The conference will also have the translation into English language, where Slovenian presentations will be held. Translation will be available via ZOOM application.

The conference organizer reserves the right to modify the date and the conference professional programme.

PAYMENT CONDITIONS:

Participation fee:

• EUR 200/person including taxes for IIA Members (no matter which country) only (please send us your GAN to info@iia.si)
• EUR 300/person including taxes General Admission.

Please note that the conference fee covers two days virtual or in person attendance. For in person attendance in Bled price also includes the dinner on the first day of the conference.

Sending the registration is regarded as an order and brings about payment liability.

You will get your original invoice during the registration after the conference. If you need Proforma Invoice please send us email to info@iia.si.

NO REFUND after May 12, 2023.

Requests for refunds must be in writing to info@iia.si .

Registrations are transferable at no additional cost. Name substitutions are accepted in writing only (email is acceptable) to the email info@iia.si.

Once the reservation has been made correctly, you will receive the appropriate payment instructions to the e-mail address provided. Conference fee can be paid by bank transfer. If the payment is not received, the registration is invalid.

Personal data and Consent to use Photographic Imagery

By registering for the event, participants agree to the conditions of participation in the event and voluntarily give explicit consent that IIA – Slovenian Institute as the controller may process the entered personal data for the purpose of keeping records of event participants and contact me by e-mail or phone, course, the content of the event and my satisfaction with it, and to send presentations that were shown at the event, and other personal data-related materials.

The IIA’s use and distribution (both now and in the future) of the registrant or attendee’s image or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions, and audiotapes of such events and activities.
